Foaled 12th April 2009.

To be trained by Richard Hannon at East Everleigh Stables, Marlborough, Wiltshire.

Purchased at Goffs Orby Yearling Sale (Sept' 10) by Peter Doyle Bloodstock.

Choisir is by champion sire Danehill Dancer. He is champion 3rd crop sire in Australia in 08/09, sire last season of 7 stakes winners including 4-time Gr.1 winner Starspangledbanner.

Choisir will be remembered in history as a racing legend. He was an Australian Champion at 2. At 3 Choisir was a global sprinting sensation. In Australia he was again a Champion and the winner of the Gr.1 Lightning Stakes at Flemington. Within the space of 5 days at Royal Ascot, England Choisir defeated the best that Europe had to offer in the Gr.1 Golden Jubilee Stakes and the Gr.2 King’s Stand Stakes.

A tour of the trainer's stable yard will give you the opportunity to see the horse for yourself and to also meet the trainer.

At the end of  October 2011 the syndicate horse will be sold, unless the respective syndicate shareowners decide to retain their horse for another season. At this stage once the horse is sold, the syndicate is wound up and the accounts are reviewed by the auditors. All prize money won (less respective trainers and jockeys % & associated deductions from prize money) and the proceeds from the horses sale are classed as income. Any surplus of income over expenditure is distributed equally to the shareowners.
