Foaled 14th March 2008.

In training with Richard Hannon at East Everleigh Stables, Marlborough, Wiltshire.


Purchased at Tattersalls Ireland Yearling Sale by Peter Doyle Bloodstock from Torard House Stud..           

Oratorio was a dual Gr.1 winner of the Eclipse Stakes and Irish Champion Stakes at 3 emulating Champion sires Sadler’s Wells and Giant’s Causeway. As a 2yo, Oratorio had already got a taste of top-level success in the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere. By sire of sires Danehill. From the family of Champion sire Alydar. Defeated Motivator (twice), Alexander Goldrun, Azamour, Grey Swallow, Starcraft, Dubawi, Rakti etc. Distance won over 6f to 10f.

Stands at Coolmore Stud (Ireland) -stud fee for 2009 - €17,500.                                                      

.First 2 y-o's in 2009. Sire of the 1st and 2nd in 2009 Dewhurst Stakes via beethoven and Fencing Master. Also sire of Royal Ascot Chesham Stakes winner Big Audio.

A tour of the trainer's stable yard will give you the opportunity to see the horse for yourself and to also meet the trainer.

At the end of  October 2011 the syndicate horse will be sold, unless the respective syndicate shareowners decide to retain their horse for another season. At this stage once the horse is sold, the syndicate is wound up and the accounts are reviewed by the auditors. All prize money won (less respective trainers and jockeys % & associated deductions from prize money) and the proceeds from the horses sale are classed as income. Any surplus of income over expenditure is distributed equally to the shareowners.
